Streaming Tank deliver Live Twitter Streaming of interactive gameshow

On behalf of a campaign launched by AMV BBDO for BT Infinity, Streaming Tank was brought in to help launch a social media campaign to celebrate their Big Broadband Sale offering BT Infinity for only £7.50. Throughout the day users were invited to take part in a ‘Price is Right’ style game live on Twitter by guessing the prize live on Twitter!

From 12 noon until 4 pm users had 7 minutes and 50 seconds every hour to tweet @BT_UK for a chance to win. BT showed a conveyor belt of prizes live on their @BT_UK Twitter feed prizes with prizes ranging from an Xbox 1, Home Entertainment system, Barclays Premier League tickets and much more which were unveiled on the day. Every correct answer went into a prize draw and a winner was be selected for each game once the time was up and the presenter announced them live.


James Wilkinson, Streaming Tank CEO said:

“This a really exciting project to be live streaming directly through Twitter. The game show format is the ideal type of show to be broadcast through social media as users have the ability to play such an active role in the live content itself.”

At the end of the final stream of prizes on the conveyor just after 4.08pm, an extended prize draw will be open for anyone who missed out during the day.

This live stream into Twitter follows on from a number of live events using the platform including the launch of Blur’s new album in 2012 and the Wayra Global Demo Day in 2013.

All content was encoded using the latest in Digital Rapids technology and distributed using the world’s largest CDN.
