Amazon Prime Day Live Stream

Remote and cinematic production facilities for Amazon Prime Day Live 2020

Client Brief
Hosted by Gemma Cainey and headlined by Lewis Capaldi, we were asked to provide a production solution for this unique live event live from multiple cities. It quickly became apparent that remote production was the way to go, allowing a single gallery crew to be across the whole event.

Our Solution
The event was in partnership with the Music Venue Trust, so we were keen to show off the uniqueness of each venue. We chose a camera plot and grip solution for each venue to allow a unique approach.

All cameras were Arris with a range of lenses and each feed was then sent back to the remote gallery via SRT streams with the exception of one venue that had no internet and no cellular so we sent back multiple feeds via an SNG which we then downloaded at the MCR.

The whole project was pulled together in under 10 days from initial conversations to delivery. We loved working with the production team, venues, lighting and artists to help capture a unique event. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but once again it showed the power of remote production. The final delivery to Twitch had great viewing figures and the client was delighted with the result.
