As part of the Amazon Music Sessions on Twitch series, we provided a complete remote production solution to film unique concerts. Streamed live every Thursday at 6 pm BST, the Amazon Music Sessions showcased some of the biggest and brightest names in music in a totally new light, mixing intimate unplugged performances with discography discussions and revealing Q&As from fans and host, Jack Howard.
Solution
We deployed our remote production solution to a different venue for each episode. Within a few hours of arriving, our teams were up and running and the remote team were able to work just as if they were sitting in a truck outside the venue.
From a live videogame integration to virtual sets and fixed rig observational filming, each show had a unique feature. We developed a tailored remote solution for each requirement, which allowed us to comply with covid restrictions without compromising the quality of the show.
In addition to our gallery crew, we provided coms panels and a live multiview to the production team, who were working from home. This solution allowed them to monitor all the gallery sources, as well as being in communication with the team in the gallery and on-site.
