Twitter launches 360 live social streaming feature via Periscope
Twitter ends 2016 with another move forward in live social streaming. Following YouTube, and ahead of Facebook, users can now watch 360 live streaming via Periscope. Currently, the broadcasting side is not available as a standard user feature, being only open to select brand partners, the company announced in a blog post. However, as is with typical with feature releases on social media platforms, we can assume that in the future all brands will have wider access to the tool, and that this will eventually extend to members of the public as well.
