We were trialling 4k 360 this weekend – but if you don’t have a snazzy headset you’ll still be able to see a version on YouTube if of interest! Info below…

We are proud to announce our support for Focal Point VR – and alongside Webcast Sport and IMG – streaming the finals of the Champions Tennis from the Royal Albert Hall, London in Virtual Reality. The VR broadcast of the matches is scheduled to start at 11:30am GMT on Sunday 4th December 2016.

Viewers watching the VR stream in the customer Focal Point VR app will be able to select their camera point of view, choosing from an ultra-high definition 6k VR livestream, a courtside stereo VR camera, and a netcord cam.

How to watch the Champions Tennis final in live in VR
Focal Point VR will be running multiple VR streams from the season ending finale to the ATP tour on Sunday 4th December. The streams can be viewed in VR headsets by downloading the Champions Tennis VR cardboard app from the Google Play store (which is being distributed as a closed beta app). For those with Gear VR headsets please use Sideload VR.

If you don’t have a headset, the VR streams will also be live on YouTube once the match starts.
