360 Live Stream – Coca Cola’s ‘March Madness’
As 360 degree live streaming continues to gather pace, our Stateside team get involved in this year’s ‘March Madness’ for Coca Cola.
In March, the stateside Streaming Tank team worked in conjunction with Koncept VR (providing the onsite cameras), Wemersive (providing the platform), the NCAA and key sponsor Coca Cola to offer LIVE full 360/VR from the March Madness Music Festival concert stage at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston, Texas.
Performers onstage between the live broadcast of the semi-final games included: Kendrick Lamar,
Twenty One Pilots, Jason Derulo and Conrad Sewell.
The 360 cameras were based in the stage pit, in front of the stage, giving the online audience an unparalleled view of this great event. And our broadcast teams were back stage, using connectivity provided by AT&T to transmit the live 360/VR pictures back to Streaming Tank’s London MCR (Master Control Room) for live engineering and encoding.
