Online Transcoder
The Streaming Tank online transcoder is an essential part of the offerings that we provide. Specifically set up to offer high quality encoding in all major formats, the transcoding platform can be used either in conjunction with other Streaming Tank platforms such as WebTV and MicroTV, or as an independent service for companies who just want to be able to easily encode content for delivery through their own platform.
Overview
Supporting all major formats, the Streaming Tank online transcoder is continually updated to accommodate new formats. As part of the transcoder process, the farm handles a wide array of critical operations including SD/HD conversion, PAL/NTSC conversion, logo insertion, colour Correction, Close Captioning extraction and more.The transcoder takes advantage of watch folders so is able to except video via standard FTP, XML‐based API or pull video from any 3rd party location.
After transcoding, video can be placed either on the Streaming Tank video tank platform or to any other 3rd party location.
