You too can enjoy Streaming Tank’s catalogue of videos on their ever expanding ‘You Tube’ Channel.

Streaming Tank are one of the leading lights of the Live Video Streaming industry, and in an effort to make their video catalogue even more accessible to web users they have expanded their ‘You Tube’ channel to feature most of their online videos.

This has been a particularly good year for Streaming Tank, having received many nominations and awards, such as the 2010 NMA Magazine Effectiveness award – best use of the web and the Broadcast Magazine’s Digital channel award – best use of broadband, as well as many others.

They have also been mentioned in an article by Media Week as one of the internet firms to look out for in the next 3 years and their Director Chris Dabbs was even included in this years 2010 Streaming Media dream team.

These are all proud moments for the staff at Streaming Tank, and the natural conclusion for a lot of businesses may have been to rest on their laurels and take time out to enjoy the recent success – after all it is a testament to the way they do things so, something must be right.

But Streaming Tank is not the average kind of company, which is maybe why they have received the awards and plaudits in the first place.  They do not look at what they have been doing right, so much as they are always thinking about how they can make things better.

As well as making their videos more accessible online to thousands more people by improving the Streaming Tank You Tube Channel, they are also currently developing a new website too, to make it even more up to date and user friendly.

This is important to the owners of Streaming Tank as they put a lot of meticulous effort into the making of their videos, and are particularly proud of the Live Video Streaming Services they have provided to the likes of musicians such as ‘The Who’, Rihanna, and Sandi Thom. They have even broken a world record this year with the ‘Starbuck’s Love Project’ where they simultaneously broadcast a live video feed from 156 countries, for AIDS awareness in Africa.

James Wilkinson, Co-Director at Streaming Tank commented;

‘As much as the awards are very nice and we are all immensely proud of our achievements, it is when we can make a real difference to other people that makes the work so fulfilling.

The Starbuck’s Love Project, for example, gave us a great sense of achievement, not because of the records we broke, but because we knew we were making an impact on people’s lives.  The more we can give back to the World as a whole, the more we will grow as individuals ourselves and as a business.’

Profound words indeed, but not altogether surprising if you know anything about Streaming Tank.  They genuinely are one of the rare companies that wish to make a difference, and in an ever increasingly cynical world, that is something which surely needs encouragement and support.
