Streaming Tank up for an early Christmas present with more industry award nominations

Streaming Tank is leading on from their recent success this summer at all the major industry award ceremonies to once again be in the frame for more top media awards.

On this occasion the leading live video streaming agency have been nominated for 3 awards in the IVCA LiveCom awards, which celebrates projects produced by UK companies both in the UK and internationally.

The IVCA LiveCom Awards celebrate creativity and effectiveness both nationally and internationally and they are the only awards of their kind to focus solely on live event and experiential marketing.

Streaming Tank are no strangers to the International Visual Communications Association, which is Europe’s largest professional body for business and public sector communicators, as they featured heavily during the IVCA Clarion awards in September, winning 3 awards including the highest honour, ‘The IVCA Chairman’s Award’.

The award ceremony itself will be taking place on Thursday 9th December 2010 at ‘The Brewery’, a leading Conference and Event centre in the heart of London.  There are 14 categories in total, split into 2 overall sections; UK events, for events created for audiences in the UK, and International Events, which encompassed projects designed to cover audiences outside the UK.

Streaming Tank has two nominations in the UK category and one for international events.  All the award nominations are for the now famous ‘Starbucks Love Project’ for the charity ‘RED’, which was staged to raise awareness of Aids in Africa, both in the UK and around the world, hence the qualification for both major categories, which is an achievement in itself.

James Wilkinson, Director at Streaming Tank commented;

‘It is always nice to be recognised for the hard work we put into getting a project off the ground, right through to its successful fulfilment, however on this occasion the satisfaction is amplified because we know it means the charity itself and the campaign gains extra exposure, thus raising awareness even more.’

That I think says everything about the nature of Streaming Tank’s work; even though they are committed to doing the best job possible, so much so that they find themselves being nominated for all these awards, they never consider themselves to be bigger than the actual project itself, and the message it is trying to send – and for that sentiment alone, they probably deserve an award.
