Streaming Tank to live stream the new Mclaren F1 car launch

The 1st of February 2012 will be an important day in the Formula 1 racing calendar.   Not because there is a race taking place (the start of the season is the 16th March in Australia), but because this is when we have the first glimpse of the car that could well be crowned as champion at the end of the season.

The Mclaren Formula 1 racing team will be revealing their new car, the MP4-27, on this date and Streaming Tank will be on hand to ensure it is shown in all its glory by live streaming the event onto Mclaren’s website and official Facebook page.

Streaming Tank is looking after the video production, satellite links, live encoding and player development involved in the launch of this much anticipated event which will see Ron Dennis, Executive Chairman of Mclaren, and drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton overseeing the start at 11am GMT.

Streaming Tank was brought in by leading agency ‘Work Club’, as well as Mclaren, thanks to their successful partnering on several other events, not least the now well documented and socially bookmarked ‘Ballantine’s POV’ campaign.
