Streaming Tank show they have what it takes to be a streaming media team player

It’s that time of year again.  The end of the football season is upon us and the world cup is around the corner, which means that fans everywhere are reflecting on their team’s performances and wondering which players from around the world would have made a welcome edition to their squad, and would have improved the performance.

Putting together dream teams for any kind of sport is nothing new, but what is maybe more unusual, but equally fitting, is when a particular industry type does the same thing.  Well, courtesy of Streamingmedia.com, that is exactly what has been done for live media streaming. A list of eleven stalwarts from the streaming media industry, individuals who have done the most over the past 12 months to both further and encourage the cause of media streaming, has been put together and one of those making a solid entry into the team is Streaming Tank’s Chris Dabbs.

Streaming Tank is at the cutting edge of live media streaming, and their portfolio of services certainly reflects this.  Not only do they offer expertise in areas such as video production, web TV, video marketing, hosting and encoding to name but a few, but much of this comes in no small part because of the input offered by their group account director and co-founder Chris Dabbs, who has worked at making Streaming Tank a multiple award winning company.

Getting included within the dream team was not an easy task though, even for a talented individual such as Chris.  It is his contribution to the industry as a whole that has cemented his well deserved place in the team.  Offering new and innovative ideas, being a regular contributor to forums and discussion groups to share his expertise, as well as pushing Streaming Tank forward to work successfully with organisations such as Vodafone, Orange, and the Starbucks Love project, which saw them play a big part in setting a new world record, are the traits that have made the difference.

Chris made this comment upon hearing of the nomination;

‘I am really pleased that the industry has recognised the hard work that we are doing here at Streaming Tank and although it is nice to get some personal recognition, none of it would be possible without the 100% dedication of a strong team of expert individuals working with me, and of course a very patient wife.’

So what does the future hold for Streaming Tank and Chris Dabbs?  Well, as this is the second year of the streamingmedia.com dream team I would assume that he will be pushing for an inclusion in next years team too, which would mean that Streaming Tank are likely to be doing some exciting things in the Media Streaming world over the next 12 months.

As he mentions in his nomination interview, the next step forward for a company that has a 100% live streaming track record, is the development of Quality 3D streaming, HD streaming, and increasing the quality of SD streaming, mobile, and platform integration.
