Streaming Tank is seeing double with nominations at the Revolution awards

Streaming Tank, specialists in live video streaming, WebTV, and rich media design and technology, were one of the digital media industry’s biggest award winners in 2010 and now they are looking to continue that achievement this year with two nominations in the upcoming Revolution Awards.

The Revolution Awards were established to recognise those companies around the world, who consistently challenge tried and tested marketing conventions, providing a benchmark of excellence from which the rest of the world can learn.  The emphasis is on innovation which means companies both small and large are eligible to be nominated.

Streaming Tank’s much lauded ‘Starbucks Love Project’, which involved the live streaming of people in over 150 different countries around the World, simultaneously performing the hit Beatles song ‘All you need is love’, is the event which has once again seen them nominated, this time within Revolution’s ‘Best Viral’  and ‘Not for Profit, Charity or Public Services’ categories.

The project itself was carried out on behalf of their client Starbucks, with the charity ‘RED’, as an effort to raise awareness about AIDS in Africa – a feat which appears to have been successful due to the high profile coverage it is now receiving thanks to all the awards Streaming Tank have won or been nominated for within the last year.

This is not without good reason either, as they were responsible for overseeing a large range of diverse and exciting projects in 2010, which also included the live video streaming of the London fashion week – something that Streaming Tank will again be doing this February.

The award ceremony itself will take place on the evening of Thursday 14th April 2011 from Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London; a popular conference venue and hotel, and a part of the Marriot group, it has a history popular with Royalty and celebrities alike.
