Streaming Tank is fully mobile at the Streaming Media conference and European Readers Choice Awards
Streaming Media Europe is holding a free Expo and conference based around ‘The Business & Technology of Online Video’ on the 14th and 15th of October 2010 at the Novotel, London West, to tie in with their ‘European Reader’s Choice Awards’ and, as you can imagine, the talented team from Streaming Tank will be close at hand.
Not only have Streaming Tank, one of Europe’s most creative live video streaming companies, been nominated for 2 awards, but they are also exhibiting at the show and their two main directors, Chris Dabbs and James Wilkinson are both panellists in ‘The future of Mobile’.
Streaming Media have been running the voting on their ‘European Readers Choice Awards’ for several weeks now and have only just recently announced the finalists. Streaming Tank is in the running for both ‘Best Live Webcast of 2010’ and ‘Streaming Services Provider’, which is no surprise really, as this year they have already won a host of other awards, including the Chairman’s choice at the IVCA awards, the IVCA’s top honour.
As for the exhibition itself, James Wilkinson is a speaker on the ‘Going Mobile: Is Portable Media Finally Here’ panel, between 11.45 and 12.30 on Thursday 14th, which explores how the streaming industry is developing and repurposing content for mobile streaming, with the advancements of devices such as the iPad, iPhone, blackberry and palm pre.
Chris Dabbs, Group Account Director at Streaming Tank, is part of ‘Delivering Video to Mobile Devices’, which takes place on Friday 15th, between 10.30 and 11.30am. This will explore which technological options and online video strategies will be available to ensure mobile video campaigns are successful.
Chris is no stranger to Streaming Media Magazine as he was included within this years ‘Streaming Media Dream Team’, so it is well worth hearing what he has to say. Be sure to check out both James and Chris at this year’s conference, as well as their exhibition and the ‘European Readers Choice’ award ceremony itself, taking place at 5.30pm within the EXPO area.
