Streaming Tank has recieved 2 more awards from the IVCA

The recent 2011 IVCA awards from the Grosvenor House Hotel in London saw Streaming Tank win more awards for their innovative live video streaming services.  The event itself took place on the evening of Friday 25th March and is well known as one of the largest and most prestigious corporate communication award ceremonies, not just in the UK but around the World too.

The International Visual Communications Association (IVCA) is the independent, not for profit, membership organisation representing the creators and commissioners of film, video, digital and live events for the corporate and public sectors.  The IVCA awards recognise the highest standards of excellence and achievement in corporate communications.

Streaming Tank has already won an amazing 10 awards in the past year alone for their work, even before this ceremony bestowed 2 more upon them. The IVCA has been the main contributor to Streaming Tank’s award cabinet when last year they awarded them with ‘Best Viral’, ‘Best Live Event’ and the ‘Chairman’s Award’ in the September IVCA Clarion Awards, before following this up in December 2010 with another 3 awards at the LiveCom ceremony.

On this latest occasion the IVCA awards were presented to Streaming Tank for ‘International Event of the Year’ and ‘Industry Award for Effectiveness’, both for their record breaking event completed in December 2009, entitled the ‘Starbucks Love Project’, which involved performers from around the World simultaneously singing the Beatle’s hit song ‘All you need is love’, live and on-line.

The project was initially set up, along with lead agency BBDO of New York and Starbucks, on behalf of the charity RED, to raise awareness about AIDS in Africa.  It has subsequently gone on to raise enough money for 7 million days of medicine for people living with HIV in Africa, as well as entering into the Guinness World Records™ for “Most Nations in an Online Sing-a-long”.

The other good news is the awards are not likely to end anytime soon for Streaming Tank.  On Thursday April the 14th 2011 they will be visiting Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, with the hopeful anticipation of winning two more awards as finalists in the Revolution Awards 2011, so be sure to keep an eye out for more updated information in the near future.
