Wieden + Kennedy

Overview

Streaming Tank have worked with Wieden + Kennedy for a number of years, providing site development and viudeo streaming technology to support several of their global campaigns.

Music Almighty Headset Competition (Nokia)

Streaming Tank worked alongside W+K in developing a fully dynamic website for the 'Music Almighty' campaign.

The campaign was based around a global competition which gave the general public the opportunity to design their own headset, with the winners being hand picked by a panel of judges. The top 5 designs were then made into fully funtioning headsets. The site required a high level of user interaction, with the added complexity of voting and moderation capabilities.

The site was translated into multiple languages and was hosted on our global HTTP network to withstand the delivery of a large amount of content around the world.

Gordon Brown Campaign (Save the Children)

Streaming Tank were also asked by W+K to implement a user-generated video based website for a Save the Children campaign. The campaign was focused around the build up to the G8 summit, when Gordon Brown would have the opportunity to fight for free health care in Africa.

Participants who were either named Gordon Brown, or were a relative or friend of a Gordon Brown, were encouraged to record and upload video clips of them pledging their support of free health care in Africa.

Streaming Tank implemented a user-generated facility which enabled users to upload video content from a variety of formats. Clips were then encoded online, moderated, and then associated to a location within the UK map to demonstate the UK wide support.
