Thinkbox
Project Objectives
Streaming Tank were asked by Thinkbox, the television marketing body for the main UK commercial broadcasters, to live stream a series of events held at the Soho Hotel in London.
Solution
Working alongside the Thinkbox in-house production team, Streaming Tank provided a vision mixing desk and operator to mix the multiple camera feeds and presentation content into a single video and audio feed for the online viewers.
A domain was registered for the events (www.thinkboxlive.tv) and a web page incorporating a registration and log-in facility was created for each event in the series. The website was designed to reflect the layout and design of the main Thinkbox website, creating a smooth transition between the two.
The website also contained a Q&A facility which enabled registered users the chance to submit comments and questions in response to each sessions content.
Result
Over the 6 event series, a dedicated audience of commercial broadcasters, advertising execs and campaign planners tuned in to watch the free-to-view sessions.
During the series, Thinkbox launched a number of ground breaking pieces of research, including the findings from their neuroscientific study of how our brains process TV and online experiences.
Each highly anticipated event was packed to the rafters, with those unable to attend the event in person given the opportunity to view the event live and online.
