Stella Artois
Project Objectives
Streaming Tank were asked by MS&L & Lowe Advertising to broadcast a live press conference from the InBev offices in Leuven, Belgium. The event was an 'invite only' exclusive preview of the soon to be relaunched Stella Artois website.
The website was a year in the making, and was heavily based around video and was optimised for broadband internet users. Stella Artois made no appolgy for this as they felt that the new website represented the high quality and exclusive identity of the brand.
Solution
A live webcast press conference was held at the Stella Artois head office in Belguim, with a selection of journalists from around the world invited to watch the exclusive event online.
Streaming Tank created a website for the webcast, which included a live Q&A form for journalists to submit questions to the panel. These questions were then asked during the live broadcast.
A three camera production was provided to produce the live content, with snippets of the website and video content mixed into the live dialogue.
The live content was encoded and broadcast live via satellite to a network of over 35,000 video streaming servers.
Result
The live website unveiling was viewed by journalists and members of the press from all over the world. The subsequent press generated by the live event helped generate a furore of excitement surrounding the impending launch, to the extent that the site received twenty times more unique users per day than before the re-launch.
