Project Objectives
Streaming Tank were contacted by the Health Protection Agency to help enable them to broadcast secure events live and online.
The Health Protection Agency coordinated the production and encoding of the live content, but required a means of delivering the content over the internet and displaying it within a webpage.
Solution
Streaming Tank created an account on one of it's content delivery networks specifically for the HPA. After determining the parameters of the encoded live feeds, we then created a player for the HPA to embed into their website.
Due to the nature of the organisation, Streaming Tank used it RMTPT tunnelling player technology to enable the live video content to pass through its firewalls.
Result
Over the past 12 months, the Health Protection Agency have broadcast a number of successful internal events using Streaming Tank's live streaming technology.
