Deezer
Project Overview
To help launch Deezer's Premium and Premium+ services in the UK, Streaming Tank were brought in by LDCommunications to oversee and manage the live encoding and streaming of a launch event held at The Hospital Club in London, on 11th October 2011.
Solution
Streaming Tank worked alongside Deezer's own in-house technical teams, as well as their internet service provider, Iguane Solutions, to enable the event to be broadcast live and online to deezer.com.
Streaming Tank provided both primary and backup encoders to encode the live content into multiple qualities on-site at the Hospital Club.
The live content was broadcast to a 3rd party CDN, and streamed directly into the deezer.com website.
Result
The event was a resounding success with Streaming Tank providing smooth high quality live encoding of the event, which saw artists such as Emeli Sande, Rizzle Kicks, Bright Light Bright Light and Housse de Racket perform a number of tacks live and online.
