Project Objectives
As a global insurance provider, Aviva require a reliable technology partner that will enable different divisions of the organisation to communicate in a secure and cost effective manner. Streaming have been working closely with Aviva's own internal marketing and IT department, as well as their prefered event and production suppliers, to create a technology and delivery platform based around their needs and planned future use.
Solution
Streaming Tank have been working with Aviva (previously Norwich Union) for a number of years. During that time, although live video streaming technology might have changed dramatcially, corporate IT infrastructure has retained a fairly rigid and uncompromising approach to new media, and in particular, video.
As a result, Streaming Tank have been working closely with Aviva's own internal security systems to test video delivery technology created for precisely this reason. Rather than expect companies to reduce their security to enable video to be video within their organisation, Streaming Tank have developed a technology to go around it.
Solution
Streaming Tank have produced a new corporate live streaming platform which has been specifically designed around the firewall and security issues normally faced when streaming video and audio content within a corporate environment.
The platform enables live events and presentations to be streamed into a secure environment, with live video and audio content accompanied by synchronised power-point slides and images.
